Hermes Fillies teams are leading the way with both the U16a and U16b teams winning their respective leagues. The U16a’s are also in the Jacqui Potter plate final with hopefully a double on the cards. The U14 teams are mid table in their leagues and improving dramatically with the addition of goalies. The coaching team managed by John Houldsworth are to be congratulated on developing the Hermes Fillies teams.

Hermes players back from South Africa

The Irish squad that included the Hermes players including Aine Connery, Miriam Cowley, Emma Gray, Lisa Jacob, Sinead McCarthy & Audrey O’Flynn have returned from a successful tournament in South Africa. Unfortunately their return flight was severly delayed due to the adverse weather conditions. This week-end Hermes 1s are playing away at Old Alex in Milltown at 15.00

Goalkeeper wanted for Vets

Hermes Vets have been stricken with injurys to players (Vicky you are missed) so badly need a few oldies but goaldies to play. In particular Sarah Belton needs a Goalkeeper so please email us if anyone can stand in the goals for the Vets. The next match is Friday 3rd February v Muckross at Serpentine Avenue at 8pm.

Christmas Party at Russell’s on December 10th was a great success and we have put a few of them in the gallery section of the website. Suffice to say editing took place. A huge thank you must go to the social crew who organised the whole thing. The place looked fab end, the Christmas outfits from some of the night’s biggest stars were top notch. Santa was especially appreciated.
