Hermes 1s take on Railway this Saturday in the IHL semi-final at 10.30am in Lisnagarvey HC, Hillsborough. The IHL is the pinnacle of Hermes domestic season and we need our supporters with us. A bus is being organised to bring supporters to the match so contact Christine Quinlan or check the status on facebook if you want to support Hermes. Hermes in Europe in May

Hermes are competing in the EuroHockey Club Champions Challenge from 25-28 May 2012 in Wettingen near Zurich. Grab those last minute flights and follow Hermes later this month. We are in Pool A and play SG Amsicora (ITA), HC Praha 1946 (CZE), Dundee Wanderers (SCO), Lille MHC (FRA).

Hermes Vets following 1s in Europe

There is a rumour that the Hermes Vets are also competing in Europe. All players are in training should the Hermes 1s need replacements. The location of the Vets training camp in Zurich is a secret but it is somewhere in the old part of the city as befits their age profile. Hermes President Laura is in charge of the fluid intake for the duration of the competition and Polly is on cultural distractions. Follow the Vets on the website, twitter and facebook

Hermes Fillies success

Hermes Fillies teams are leading the way with both the U16a and U16b teams winning their respective leagues. The U16a’s are also in the Jacqui Potter plate final with hopefully a double on the cards. The U14 teams are mid table in their leagues and improving dramatically with the addition of goalies. The coaching team managed by John Houldsworth are to be congratulated on developing the Hermes Fillies teams.
