The Club
Hermes Hockey Club was founded in 1966 with 48 members. In recent years the club has maintained a consistent senior membership of approximately 100 registered players and runs four teams in the Leinster ladies leagues, at levels ranging from Division 1 to Division 11, as well as a vets team and a very popular and successful underage section with teams at U12,U14,U16 and U17 level.
The club has produced many senior international players over the years, including Linda Caulfield former Irish captain who retired from international hockey last season, and currently has three young players on the Ireland A squad.
